About Message In A Bottle
19 months after being launched from a sailing boat in the mid-Atlantic, an artist’s message in a bottle, containing half a $20 bill and the promise of more is found in the Bahamas and mailed back to him to complete his sculpture.
On 31st December 2008, US resident Nathan Collins, on a geology field trip to Gerace Research Center, San Salvador, Bahamas found it lying on the sand in a small cove. He posted the bottle back to Jamie’s studio in Brighon and Jamie has now been able to complete the first of the 3 conceptual sculptures.
